Join us for the Orinda 4th of July Parade!

Calling all musicians! Come join us and be part of a very unique "pick-up" marching band. Appropriate for anyone with 2 years of experience with their band instrument, regardless of age. We have students, seniors, and everyone in between.

NEW THIS YEAR: Meet at the Orinda BART Parking Lot

Come by the store to pick up the music (Sousa and patriotic songs) and to purchase a lyre if you don't already have one.

Details:

8:30 AM - percussion meets in the Orinda BART parking lot for practice. Contact the store if you need to borrow a drum.

8:45 AM - all other instruments meet at Orinda BART for music playthrough

10 AM - we march!

We will end by the Orinda Library before noon - it is an easy walk back to the starting point

Wear blue pants/shorts and white shirt or something patriotic. For more information on the parade, check out the Orinda Association website.
