The Lamorinda Music "Big Room"

Did you know that Lamorinda Music has a first-class group area available for rent? We call it our "Big Room". It is perfect for group classes and recitals. It can accommodate up to 65 people depending on the seating configuration.

Details

There is a 8-foot x 16-foot stage area and room for 60 seated attendees. There is a baby grand piano that can be on stage (or cleared off the stage it if isn't required.) We will provide chairs and portable tables as necessary. There is direct access to the parking lot so the participants can enter and exit outside of normal business hours. There is an ADA-accessible restroom right within the area.

Available for Rent

The Big Room is a terrific venue to rent for group classes and recitals. It is not available for concerts. The standard rates are as follows:

$50/hour during our regular business hours (9:30-6 M-F, 10-5 Sat)
$60/hour outside regular business hours. Must be less than 46 people.

Notes:

The rental time needs to include your setup and teardown as well.
Rent may be reduced for a regularly scheduled event (e.g. weekly or monthly)

So, what works in the Big Room?

The Big Room is intended for group musical events, such as classes and recitals. We frequently host piano, violin, and vocal recitals by music teachers from the area.
