Lamorinda Music has a simple philosophy: only carry great gear from great companies and only sell what we would want to play ourselves. We are more than just a full-line band and orchestra instrument store. We also carry the area's best ukulele selection as well as a great guitar selection and sheet music books. And now we carry a wide selection of dance and theatre clothing. Band Instruments - We carry only high quality student and step-up instruments that are delightful to play and meet the requirements of our instructors and local music educators. We carry Yamaha, Buffet. Conn, Selmer, King, Emerson, Leblanc, Bach, Armstrong, and Getzen band instruments
Ukuleles - We have the best and largest ukulele selection in the East Bay and a wonderful ukulele community! We offer free community jams and one-on-one lessons. We have ukuleles from Kala, Kanile'a, Outdoor Uke, Ohana, Flight, Klos, Makai, and Luna. Check out our in-stock inventory here.
Accessories - We carry a full line of accessories for all instruments, including reeds, mutes, cases, valve oil, guitar/ukulele strings, tuners, straps, music stands, picks, amplifiers, etc.
Orchestra Instruments - We carry violins, violas, cellos, and basses from Eastman Strings and Century Strings. All of our strings are educator approved set up by a our own string technician after they come from the manufacturer.

Banjos and other Fretted Instruments - Come see us for your banjo, banjolele, and mandolin needs. We have a nice selection from Gold Tone, Hohner, Recording King, and others. Plus accessories and music too.
Consignment - In addition to selling excellent brand new instruments and accessories we are happy to sell your high quality used instrument on consignment. This allows our customers to explore new kinds of instruments at a great price in one location.
Music Books & Sheet Music - Come see us for a great selection of piano method books, classical pieces, lesson books for all instruments, Piano-Vocal-Guitar (PVG) books for a wide variety of musical personalities and groups, ukulele books, and books required for local schools. We've got them all!
Pre-School Music - We have recently expanded our selection of musical instruments for the pre-school set. Come see high-quality toys and instruments that will inspire the next generation of musicians! And of course don't miss Music Together for the little ones!
