"Wonderful place to find an instrument. All the salespeople were extremely friendly knowledgeable and helpful."

- Heather M

"I should have written a review for Lamorinda Music long ago. We have rented instruments from them through the years, and it's always been a pleasure. I also had some work on the neck of my electric guitar (leveling of the frets) and a fix of the electronics. All was done well for very reasonable pricing. Last week we upgraded the pickups on my son's electric bass and it was also done quickly, effectively and for a very reasonable fee. This place is a gem for Lamorinda musicians."

- Leo M

"Great locally owned and operated establishment. Wide selection, fair pricing

Carbon Fiber Travel Guitars and Ukes - by KLŌS Guitars

Durable, portable, amazing sound.

KLŌS Guitars makes three different carbon fiber instruments—a travel guitar, full size guitar, and ukulele. Each model can be upgraded to Acoustic Electric and Deluxe Editions, which feature premium add-ons!

Durable Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is much stronger and more resistant than wood. The one-piece body makes a very strong structure all around, whereas wooden guitars and ukes need bracing and kerfing at the juncture of the back piece to the side piece to support the thin wood and corners. On KLŌS instruments, there are no bottom corners to crack or dent.

Detachable Neck (guitars only)

Easily Disassembled! The neck attaches to the body via our proprietary neck block. Four screws bolt the neck securely in place via metal inserts. This creates a secure joint that allows the neck to sit in its place identically every time that it is taken apart and put back together.

We are the only KLŌS dealer in Northern Californa. Stop by and see these amazing instruments.

Two Very Special Hand-Built Breedlove Guitars

We have two Breedlove guitars hand-built by Steve Henderson (one of the original founders of Breedlove) in the shop right now.

  • 1996 SC-R Concert solid Engelmann Spruce top with rosewood back and sides - $1,200

  • 2001 SC-25/R Grand Concert solid Engelmann Spruce top w/rosewood back and sides and a cutaway ad Fishman Matrix pickup - $1,000

These are beautiful instruments that should be played!

The Eric Clapton Signature Martin Guitar

We just received a new shipment of Martin guitars including the Eric Clapton 000-28EC guitar based on his iconic MTV Unplugged performance. Constructed from East Indian rosewood, the visually stunning 000-28EC produces a well-balanced tone. We also got in a D-35, the D-15M Streetmaster, and several others.

You can check out the Martins we have here (though the selection may vary slightly).

We hope you come by and see these truly amazing instruments.
