1982 Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Alto Saxophone – Serial #328677
A beautiful vintage Selmer Paris Super Action 80 alto saxophone, serial number 328677, dating to approximately 1982. This is the original Super Action 80 model—often called the “Series I”—that preceded the later Super Action 80 Series II.
 
Made in France, the Super Action 80 continued Selmer’s legendary professional saxophone tradition while introducing more modern ergonomics and keywork. These early SA80 altos are sought after by players who appreciate a rich, resonant Selmer sound with a more comfortable, responsive mechanism than earlier vintage designs.
 
This horn looks great for being over 40 years old, with attractive gold lacquer, detailed original-style engraving, mother-of-pearl key touches, and only normal signs of age and use visible in the finish. 
 
Includes neck, mouthpiece, and fitted Selmer flight-style case as pictured. The horn was recently serviced in our shop and plays great.
