Serial #71153 (circa mid-1970s, Elkhart-era)
 
The Bach Stradivarius 42 is a benchmark professional trombone, prized for its rich tone, projection, and versatility. This particular instrument, built in the mid-1970s, comes from the highly regarded Elkhart production period.
 
It is in good playing condition, has been recently serviced, and includes a padded gig bag along with a versatile set of four mouthpieces: Denis Wick SM4, Denis Wick 6BS, Bach 6 ½ AL, and Doug Elliot LT N 101. Some minor cosmetic wear is present, but overall it plays beautifully and is ready for its next serious student or advancing player.
