Lamorinda Music Presents... Club Jazz

Club Jazz - a jazz band for high school musicians (and for 8th graders too!). This fun, contemporary ensemble will be a place to make great music and meet fellow musicians from the area outside of a traditional school environment. After successful sessions earlier this year, we are currently getting feedback whether there is sufficient interest for another session in the Fall.

Where:   The Big Room at Lamorinda Music

                81 Lafayette Circle, Lafayette

When:    Fridays 4-5:30 PM

Cost:      TBD

The Club Jazz band and its curriculum will be taught by Dr. Matt Zebley, Director of jazz Studies at Diablo Valley College. Click here for Matt's bio.

Club Jazz will focus on contemporary, creative improvisation and collaborative music making. At this time any high school age musician can join. Members should have good instrumental skills and be willing to learn and play music by ear. All instrumentalists are welcome!

    • Yes, but you must play your instrument at a high school or equivalent level
